OUR TRAINING APPROACH

We emphasize increasing your game by increasing your overall athletic ability; speed, conditioning, balance, coordination and full body strengthening to maximize your power for the duration of the game. The position-specific specialty training is provided by coaches who have competed in college and in the NFL and CFL.

Vance Barnes – Minnetonka HS Football & Track

In 2014 Running Back Vance started MIT running a 4.5 in the 40 yd dash and in 2015 he lowered his time to 4.4. In track Vance in 2014 ran the 100m in 10.9 and he lowered his time to 10.7 which helped him to a top 3 finish at the MSHL State meet and a scholarship to Minnesota State Mankato in football and track.

Sam Pickerging – Minnhaha HS Football & Track

In 2013 Quarterback Sam started MIT running a 4.9 in the 40 yd dash and in 2016 he lowered his time to 4.6 and increased his vertical by 8 inches. In track Sam earned all conference honors. Sam, starting the spring 2017 will be joining the Minnesota Gopher football team as a quarterback.

John Lager – Benilde HS Football

In 2012 receiver John started MIT running a 5.1 in the 40yd dash and in 2014 he lowered his time to 4.7 and increased his vertical by 6 inches. John now is a tight end at Yale University.
